For Clients
Tasmanian Contracting Services removes recruitment concerns and hiring restrictions, eliminates payroll administration and simplifies paperwork.
Flexibility
You keep any particular contractor for as long or as short a time as you like. If you decide a contractor's services are no longer needed, you simply let us know, and the contract is then closed or a replacement contractor is sent. As your needs change, so you can alter your use of agency contracting. You are not locked in to lengthy & complex legal contracts.
You can negotiate unit (piecework) rates with the agency that link your labour costs directly to the productivity of the contractor, or team of contractors. A fixed labour cost per item sold/produced? - Now that gives you real control of your costs!
Cost Effectiveness
For every dollar paid to people working under an award, there is a further 56% to be added in on-costs, i.e. if the pay rate for an award worker is $15.00 per hour, the real cost to the employer for every hour actually worked is $23.40.
In addition to the real cost, there are potentially further savings in clerical costs resulting from reduced paperwork, recording and ongoing maintenance of existing administrative systems.

This enables the individuals to undertake work as independent contractors without the requirement to absorb the administrative workload. They do not require an ABN or to be registered for GST.
TCS' internal payroll reporting functions are both flexible and detailed and can provide clients with detailed analyses.
